Accoring to TOI report:
Himachal Pradesh-based Theon Pharmaceuticals Ltd, owned by railway minister Pawan Kumar Bansal's wife, Madhu, and sons, Amit and Manish, saw its turnover rise from zero to Rs 152 crore - period that also saw Bansal's political graph soaring.
Bansal's sons own four companies, Theon Pharmaceuticals Lt, Iva Healthcare Ltd, Isis Packaging Ltd and Bansi Raunaq Energy Ltd. Bansal had become Union parliamentary affairs minister in UPA-2 in 2009.
Amit and Manish are actively involved in the pharma company's daily operations, it's the minister's wife Madhu Bansal who is the largest shareholder with 4,06,500 shares in Theon. According to RoC documents, Madhu is also a director at Iva healthcare Private Ltd.
Amit, who is also a director of Delhi Public School in Mohali, is the second largest shareholder with 4,02,000 shares. In 2010, Amit's wife Monika was also made a shareholder with 1,05,000 shares in Theon.
